Nice exhibit of Italian paintings at Milwaukee Art Museum “Of Heaven and Earth”; by far my favorite is this one done circa 1592 by Giuseppe Cesari, called ‘Archangel Michael and the Rebel Angels’. Interestingly, a young Caravaggio, when he arrived in Rome, trained in Cesari’s studio.
